We LOVE dinosaurs!    

Creating highly artistic, conversation-starting dinosaur gear is our obsession!  

Based in Southern California, DinoStorus is dedicated to raising the bar in the dinosaur apparel space. Our designs are not the typical mass produced dinosaur products. Each piece is a meticulously conceived, head-turning piece of art, designed to bring a smile to your face! Founded by L.A. artist Dario CiVon, who attended the renowned Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, the artwork is created by him. Occasionally he will invite a handpicked artist from the Hollywood animation community to create a piece.  

You can't love dinos and not love the Earth. That's why it’s very important to us that we source our products ethically. 

Because of that, our blanks either come from the U.S. or certified non-sweat shop facilities, and all of our printing takes place in the U.S or Latvia. Soon. we’ll be able to offer Global Organic Standard (GOS standard) t-shirts.  As we grow, our goal is to keep adding more organic products.

Origin Story

DinoStorus was founded by California native, 25 year-old Dario CiVon.  A life-long doodler, a career in the arts was inevitable. But after a period of burnout at the end of art school, Dario didn't pick up a paint brush for four months. When he returned, he vowed to let himself paint whatever he wanted. What emerged was a beautiful painting of dinosaurs playing in the river. It was at that moment, Dario decided to turn his childhood passion into a business. Drawing gigantic creatures inhabiting a primordial earth? It doesn’t get any better than that for an artist who loves color and shapes!  

So, Dario began to think... kids love dinosaurs… he loves drawing dinosaurs- he’s seen every episode of Shark Tank- maybe there’s an opportunity to be an artist and an entrepreneur!?  

Dario's blend of creature design knowledge and animation flair create the signature DinoStorus look and feel.

Dario has worked as an Art Drector for Discovery Channel Latin America, Fox, and more. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his mom. He's also dabbled in voice-over, performance art, and hip hop music. Most recently, he was selected as an up-and coming entrepreneur for a new business reality TV show, "60 Day Hustle" which you can check out on Amazon Prime Video.  

Favorite Dino: “Utah-Raptor, because it was 20 feet long, could run 40 mph, likely hunted in raptor packs!  I'm very glad to live in the 21st century lol.”

Luisa started her career an actress before transitioning to being a television comedy writer. She’s written for dozens of projects over the years, but none is more rewarding than working closely with her son on DinoStorus. His vision to “bring Dino-sized Joy to the world” through his art is something she deeply supports. She had no idea when she bought Dario that first dinosaur toy that it would lead to this! 

As his Chief Product Officer her primary job is scour the globe looking for awesome, responsibly-manufactured products for the store. In her spare time she enjoys walking her pugs, and doing hot yoga. 

Favorite Dino:“The triceratops because it had up to 800 teeth in its lifetime. That definitely kept the Tooth Fairy busy!"
